David Holliday The Montages
This picture will be displayed framed at the Plantation on the 11th of this month as part of David Holliday The Montages exhibition. This will be one of a series of street photo-montages of bikes, carts, cyclos, and even the odd tuk tuk.
The new collection is coming together with a dead line of a matter of days to place work on the wall at The Plantation Hotel. This is original and new but also a rework of old ’tiles’ I still built too high. I really want a canal terrace effect and will be working on this for my next exhibition.
This is a collection of images in montage. It is on the coast and a lot of it is slum living. I was going to include the back drop of the new hotel they were building behind this shanty but it looked messy and out of place. I like the dogs and children in this. And the purple graffiti.
My take on coffee in Phnom Penh. This is an old building and an old coffee shop. I added to this pictures of cups of coffee, and some street scenes. The edge is from another building completely.
